English and Japanese, live, in both directions
Jinsoku translates between English and Japanese while people speak: on calls with a Japanese client, in a presentation to a mixed room, or across the counter at a city office.
Calls with Japanese colleagues or clients
Live Meeting Translate reads your Zoom, Meet, Teams or WhatsApp Web tab and shows the other side in your language as they talk, then leaves you with a speaker-labeled transcript and summary.
Presenting to a mixed room
Speak in English and the Japanese speakers in the room read you in Japanese, or the other way round. With Audience View each person picks their own language on their own phone.
Face to face
Live Chat Translation puts English and Japanese side by side on one screen, for a front desk, a landlord, a new colleague or a school meeting.
In Japanese, too
Jinsoku (迅速, "swift") is fully available in Japanese as well as English, so Japanese-speaking colleagues can use it in their own language.
Questions people ask
Does it handle both directions?
Yes. Choose English and Japanese and Jinsoku translates whichever is being spoken into the other.
Can I use it for business meetings in Japan?
Yes. Live Meeting Translate works with the call platforms most Japanese companies use, including Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams in the browser. You need the right to record and translate the calls you join.
How much does it cost?
You can start free with no card. Spark is $2 a week or $8.99 a month and adds live translation on calls and talks, voice cloning and Audience View. Bolt is $30 a month. Cancel any time, with a full refund within 14 days of signing up.
Can the other people on my call hear the translation?
No. In Live Meeting Translate you read translated captions, and an optional spoken readout in a neutral AI voice plays only on your own device. Jinsoku sends no audio into the call, so nobody else hears it and nobody else installs anything.
